A week ago at my first ultrasound my doctor said I was having a missed miscarriage. Baby measured 6x5 and I was 8x2. No heartbeat found. I go in again for another ultrasound in 1 week. Needless to say I am anxious, doctor was certain the pregnancy isn’t viable. Just wondering if there are any stories out there of similar situations or where they were told they were miscarrying and next ultrasound showed heartbeat and growth? I know it’s wishful thinking and I’m probably not going to have a miracle happen here, but I’m curious if there are other miracle stories.

Also, opinions on misoprostol (pill to induce miscarriage) or D&C. These will be my options as I don’t think I’m going to miscarry naturally. I’ve heard the pill causes incredible cramping pain/heavy bleeding and it doesn’t guarantee your body will pass everything. Thoughts on which to do?
