Cleaning with Clorox Clean Up with Bleach - did I harm my baby?!

Hi ladies!

I hate to bother with a stupid question on this app but my anxiety has got the better of me...I wanted to know anyone’s experience, exposure, and insight if possible on this topic!

Some background, I’m 13W exactly and 1st pregnancy. I had my 1st ultrasound this week, Tuesday. All is good and on track and healthy so far, thank God! Big hugs to all the moms and moms to be!!

So here is the long story....

I haven’t had much energy over my 1st trimester to do a single thing. I was just surviving. Most noteable, was the lack of cleaning and basic house work. Like weeks of no dusting, cleaning, laundry, etc. My home was a mess and quite terrible. I love my husband but couldn’t ask him to help because it would end up worse! Joking aside, I finally had some energy today and had a day off to dedicate to cleaning. I’m talking about 8 hours of deep cleaning with a focus like one takes adderral back in college studying for an exam type of level. I was basically a psycho, I know.

I went ham today and cleaned, dusted, disinfected, organized every nook, cranny, spot, closet, room, etc. I heard nesting is a thing later on in the pregnancy but I got the bug today!

Anywho, my question is exposure time to all the cleaning chemicals I used in 8 hours today? I used gloves and wore a face mask for the majority/if not all. Made sure to vent the rooms where I was and had fans and AC circulating too.

Did I harm my baby or myself due to chemical exposure?

I used Windex, Lysol, and Clorox Clean Up plus Bleach. Again, gloves and mouth/face mask. Had fans going and vents too. Never felt nausea or had issues with breathing due to the face mask. I tried my best to not get residue spray on me but it occasionally happened.

However, in my shower I used Clorox Clean Up plus Bleach. I let it set and then sprayed it down to wash away any chemicals but maybe not enough. I get in said shower afterwards due to cleaning all day with a still strong odor in it and proceed to shower as normal.

I immediately notice that my eyes are itchy and throat is too. I wrap up my shower and realize that I may not have washed off enough of the Clorox Clean Up plus Bleach before getting in.

Did I do some damage to my unborn baby due to my crazy ocd and cleaning? Like I got Clorox Clean Up Bleach-ish Shower/misted all over unexpectedly.

I’ve already messaged my OB/GYN via e-mail/patient communication system to get confirmation as well for this above but wanted to know if you ladies had any insight, experience, knowledge on this topic?

Thank you,
