I’m 11w2d (so kinda early to be thinking about this). Due November 29-ish.

I started a new job on April 1st that has a decent (for the US) maternity leave policy.

I’d like to take a the 1st week of September off for vacation. Then I’ll be going on maternity leave in December.

Is it asking too much to take the vacation?

I feel like it’s my last chance to do stuff I love before everything changes! But I also really want to keep myself on solid footing at this job. (It’d be quite bad for my career to change jobs.)
