Does it matter? My first egg retrieval was in a surgical room in an office but I just met with the anaesthesiologist (I know I butchered that spelling) today and he’s requiring me to have my retrieval next week in the hospital operating room next door to the fertility clinic because of underlying heart conditions that concern him. I’m worried about the fertilization process now though. My first time only 3 fertilized normally out of 16 so now I feel like doing something out of the norm will put that more at risk?

Have any of you ladies done retrieval not at the location of the lab your embryos will be growing in?
