Birth Control and Plan B?

Question

So to put a long story short last night I had a mishap with a fwb and the condom broke. I am supposed to take my nuva ring out today to start my period, but I don't know if I should take it out and take plan b, or if I should just leave the ring in another week skipping my period, or just take it out and go about things as normal. Any ideas?

If you have been using Nuva ring correctly, then you do not need Plan B. Your Plan A is still working. 
Proceed with the Nuva Ring as you normally would. Take it out for a withdrawal bleed if you like. Skip that bleed if you like. Either way, you should be protected.
