Is this normal?

This may be tmi, but I’m in need of some input...

I’m currently pregnant with my third child (about 6 weeks) and about two days ago I had some light bleeding that was bright red after intercourse. I spoke with my OB and he said as long as I’m not soaking pads I’m fine. He said everything looked great on my ultrasound the day before so I shouldn’t worry. Yesterday it was more of a brownish-pinkish discharge, and today I tried to clean myself a little bit in the shower and now it is more of a brownish-reddish discharge. Should I be concerned? This never happened when I was pregnant with my other two children.
