I’ve had the Mirena since about October and ever since then my periods have either been super short or not there at all. I haven’t had a period in about 2 months. I have unprotected sex pretty much at least once a week. About 2 weeks ago I had unprotected sex and ever since then I’ve had some brown discharge and am having some spotting also, as well as some cramping. I was supposed to get my period at the end of last month. Could this just be a minor period coming late or could it be my IUD being displaced? This is my first time having an IUD so I don’t know what to expect in this situation. I just wanted to get some other people’s opinions before actually worrying and calling my doctor.
