Real friend or fake friend. How should i feel?

So, my best friend made me promise her that i wouldn't try getting with her crush, and i promised her i wouldnt bc she is my friend. She wouldnt talk about any other guy but him. And my crush comes and gives her the slightest attention and she is in love with him. Now they are dating, and she knows ive liked this guy for a while. I dont want to tell her im mad or upset bc i dont wanna make myself look like a fool infront of him, i dont wanna ruin mine and his friendship bc i dont know if he likes me like that. Ya know? So how should i feel or react? Any advice?

"You're my friend and I want you to be happy but I'm kind of hurt and bothered because you asked me to not make any moves toward the guy you were into but now you're dating the guy I was into. I don't want to throw away our friendship over this but it bothers me enough I had to get it off my chest." Obviously, you wouldn't say anything like this in front of him. It will make her feel bad, and I would hope you would be confronting her for your own catharsis and closure, not to hurt her. Hopefully, it would make her understand she did something hypocritical.

Just talk to her about how you feel. You sound pretty young since your friend made you promise to not talk to her crush. I’m 31 and my friends and I have always made it clear it’s not okay to date someone that you were in a serious long term relationship but otherwise everyone is free game. I wouldn’t want to keep my friend from being with someone she loves that may be the one for her if I don’t even know if he liked me. Just be open because I can tell you boys will come and go and your friends will always be there.
