How long after birth to go #2?

How long did it take everyone to go number 2 after having the baby? I’m scared it’s going to hurt!!

My first baby I went days. I was terrified and I just had a almost 9 lb baby come out my vagina. I tore etc. so I was just not having the pooping idea 😂. 
Second baby I started stool softeners a week before delivery so I had nice soft bowel movements. I pooped a few hours after delivery. 
Also remember... if you had a vaginal delivery you more than likely pooped while giving birth so if you don’t normally poop but every couple days then don’t be surprised if it takes you a bit to poop.

It was only a few hours for me. I asked for something for a headache and ended up with diarrhea shortly after. And honestly was that way for a few days. I’ve never been so grateful for diarrhea lol

Did any of you mamas also find prune juice to be helpful? I've been prone to constipation all my life, so am TERRIFIED about the effect of it now. 😳😂

Mine was about 24 hours. They loaded me up with stole softener so it was nothing but I also had a c section so could be a different experience

4 days! It was awful but you just gotta get it out, use suppositories and/or stool softeners for sure!

I believe it was 2 days after I was still in the hospital make sure to take your stool softener and drink lots and lots of water as stated already do not push it out just let it come out on it’s own. It’s quit uncomfortable but not as scary as you think it took me 45 to go when I first went it sucked yes uncomfortable very but I felt a lot better afterwards.

Make sure you have stool softener in the hospital and enough for a few weeks afterwards. It’s actually not great but I think it took less than 48 hours and do not push it out. Just sit there until it falls out. It will take time
