Workout routine change during pregnancy

So I’m an averagely fit person who is trying to stay active during this pregnancy. Before being pregnant i would run 3mi a couple times a week and do yoga every day. I’m trying to stay active with running, walking and regular small core/arm workouts, but due to some pretty bad groin pain I’m thinking I may not be able to continue running.

Lap swimming is something else I’ve enjoyed a few years ago but haven’t kept up with it lately due to moving to a new town and not finding a good place. I know doctors will tell you it’s okay to keep doing what you were doing before pregnancy, but is it a huge no no if I switch from running to swimming at this stage in the game? I’m 25w. I would know to keep my heart rate in check while first starting out anything I could ease I to it pretty smoothly.
