Our baby is due October 2...we live in Ohio so the weather will begin to get a little chilly by November and December. Plus I’ll need some recovery weeks after baby. Anyways, we could HOPEFULLY start to go outside in April/May when baby is 6/7 months...is it worth it to purchase a brand new jogger at this point in time for a registry or would it be smarter to get a used one off the Facebook marketplace/garage sale...?

I’m only asking this question because I want to put either a jogger or a regular stroller on the registry and then whichever one I don’t decide on I will buy as a hand me down. Which one would be more worth buying new with the timing of baby? Also, when do most babies begin to ride in a jogger? I know they have to be sitting up on their own, so now I’m dealing with milestones 😑

Most likely by the time we go on strolls, the car seat won’t need to be attached, except maybe in the very very beginning...once again, all dependent on that damn Ohio weather 🙄🤦🏼‍♀️
