I’m getting married but these were my deal breakers. Smoking because I have severe asthma. Luckily my finance agrees that it’s gross. Alcoholism because I grew up surrounded by it and don’t want it for my future. My fiancé also grew up in an alcoholic home. Now for the cussing..I do not cuss but I’m marrying a Navy Vet and he definitely cusses like a sailor. We’re working on it though. I want him to cut it back before we have children. He tries to be better when we’re in settings with children. But man, at home he cusses up a storm. 😂

Their humor. I’m not a big fan of black humor but I really mean stuff like suicide, rape, and dead baby jokes, especially when they degrade the issues.
It’s a big red flag for even a friendship
