So back in November I was in a very emotionally abusive relationship, we’d been together for near about 6 months by November but this is when he got abusive. We finished in January and looking back it was the best thing I could ever have done.

Now it’s May, and its been nearly a month since me and boyfriend went official after being in the dating stage for about 2 months because of me having my guard up. I genuinely couldn’t be happier with my new man. He hates seeing me in pain, and he always has donuts for me when I go to his house. He understands me, he knows I have bad days and good days. He knows that I’ll cry about what my mum and dad did to me (they were emotionally and sometimes physically abusive as well) but he also knows that I’m safe now that I’m living with my grandparents. He really was the light at the end of the tunnel for me. Best thing about our relationship is that he’s genuinely my best friend 🥰 he might not be the best looking but to me he is, he’s got an amazing personality and he’s always putting me first. No matter how much I tell him to put his self first 😂
