How did you find going from 1 to 2 babies?

Husband and I have had the discussion to try for #2!! Our son is 19 months and I am ready but also so nervous. How did you find it? So many people said harder to me but I had an entire house tell me it was easier last night so now I’m curious for others opinions 😊

I'm not going to lie, it's hard af. My daughter is hitting her terrible twos at the same time my 8mo is teething and miserable. What a shit show, I tell you. But having then so close in age is great too. They're growing together! Its wild lol

My oldest was 4.5 when my second was born. The first few weeks were difficult learning to juggle everyone’s needs. Mainly the adjustment was my oldest getting use to sharing mommy. 
I can tell you in many ways 2 is easier than 1! My oldest definitely entertains and plays with her sister a LOT! I’m pregnant with number 3 and I absolutely love the help my oldest gives me. I don’t think much about going from 2 to 3 because I’m use to splitting myself several ways now. 
For example, when I’m sick in the bathroom my oldest will keep my youngest happy for me and get her toys or a snack. When she’s at school I have an 18 month old trying to lay on my back while I’m puking 😂

For us it was very hard because our son needed special care. He had heart issues that required open heart surgery at a week old and a lot of NICU time. My daughter was only two when he was born so it was a challenge for sure. He’s now 18 months and doing much better. It’s definitely hard but I wouldn’t have it any other way.

I’ve always been told it’s easier to go from 2 to 3+. And 1 to 2 was the hardest. My daughter was 8 when my son was born last year and it definitely was a challenge even though she’s much older. We’re now pregnant again and I don’t feel as nervous. My brother has 7. He said after his second son, it’s been much easier. Strangely.
