2week old baby drinking too much? 6/7 ounces

We moved to bigger bottles and she was drinking 180ml since yday but today she finished that and asked for more and had a further 70ml. Is this normal?

My doctor is adamant about not feeding more than 3 oz at a feeding until 4 months  if age. Feeding more than that at a sitting only stretches their stomach and makes them want more,at each feeding. I feed 3 oz every 2 to 3 hours. The frequency is due to needing them to get all the fluid they need in order to not get constipated without stretching the stomach. Skipping feedings this young so you can get a more regular sleep schedule may result in your baby having digestive or bowel problems.

I second pace feeding!!! It takes awhile for babies bellies to catch up with their brain. So they’ll chug as fast as they can & then become uncomfortable a few minutes later. If you think about it when they nurse it takes around 30 minutes & so should bottle feeding them. There are a lot of results if you google it! Good luck ☺️
