Kind of confusing but bare with me!!

Alright so last month my period was late. I was told that if my period is late, it is because I ovulated late. According to the app, I ovulated April 29th and my period was supposed to start yesterday. My boyfriend cam in me on the 3rd. Is it possible that I ovulated late and that I could possibly be pregnant? I know the app is just a prediction, and I just bought ovulation tests yesterday but that doesn't help me now. Lol. If I were to have ovulated on the 3rd or a day or 2 after and I was pregnant, would it be to early to show on a pregnancy test? I know this is really confusing and I'm horrible at putting this into words for others to understand so any input would be helpful! Thanks in advance! 😊
