Saw a few of his videos but never subscribed. I've never been a fan of beauty gurus.
Honestly though, something about him never sat right with me.  I mean, I never witnessed all the 'drama' but I just always got an uncomfortable vibe from watching him.

I wasnt subscribed but i did occasionally watch his videos and i own his morphe pallete. Im disappointed but not surprised, everyone has drama around them but he seems to almost feed off of it. The thing that made me most upset was his attitude about straight men. Whether it be men, women, gay, straight, bi, older, younger, whatever...it is never okay to feel sexually empowered because "im a celebrity"thats so gross. Almost everyone in the major beauty community has had some sort of scandal but i dont see this going away any time soon.

My sister brought up a great point he's been problematic before and people have dismissed it as being young and dumb. But hes constantly been a mess and now someome else points it out and we now don't claim him? Is it because she has a bigger platform? Also never liked him lol he's been messy since he became big

He isn't necessarily being dragged for how he treats straight men and the whole predator narrative, it's more because tati who is a well respected and genuine source who was close to him for a while has pointed out what a shitty friend he was to her and he was honestly already a controversial figure so I think tati just made up a lot of people's mind for them. That being said James has openly been being gross about straight men in the past and no one cared this much about it then so I think this just backs up that it's not all about the sexual predator idea.

only reason tati kicked off in the first place was cuz he sponsored sugar bear, she should've spoken up about him earlier if she had anything against him. 
point is, she should've said something when he started acting in certain ways, she picked on it cuz she childishly had a hissy fit when james did the sponsorship.
i'm still gonna continue to support them both and i'm not gonna take sides when both people were in the wrong.

I was a sister Stan, but with all the drama is was getting involved in and hearing how he was promoting Tati’s competition and that he was stalking Shawn Mendes at the Met Gala, that he made people uncomfortable with all his talk about sex and stuff. It was too much. And I don’t think that Jeffree Star would ban him from his house if he didn’t have a good reason.
