What spelling and middle name? Help!

Question

We want our baby girls name to be Elana as her spelling but don’t want anyone to mispronounce it.
It should be said el-lay-na 
I know there are other spellings, such as Elaina but I’m not a huge fan of adding the “I” and how that looks.
Do you think others would mispronounce the spelling of Elana and say it differently? I don’t want people to think it’s el-anna...
Help! How would you pronounce it/spell it?
Also, which middle name?

Sorry, I know a few Elanas & they all pronounce it "El-ahh-na." It's going to be mispronounced the majority of the time if you use that spelling. You might consider "Elena"-- I know two Elenas & they both pronounce it the way you want.

I’m a teacher and have seen names spelled different ways. If I was reading this name, my first thought would be to say e-law-na. I’ve seen is spelled Elaina, Alana, Alaina
