Seriously?

Question

My fiancé discovered some gnats in our kitchen trying to get into the light. Hardware store in town is closed so I decided to take to Pinterest to see if I could find some quick fix DIY thing. 
Next thing I know?
My fiancé has made a flamethrower out of hairspray and lighter. Now he’s in there stomping on the ground, I’m assuming after spraying them with the hairspray. 
I think we will have an only child😂😂

For fruit flies I like to use a small jar or cup, put some apple cider vinegar  with a couple of drops of dish soap in it stirred together. Cover the container with syran wrap, and poke some small holes into the top of it. They get in, go down to the vinegar, get some soap on them and cant get back out. It works pretty well honestly!

I've seen a lamp set up with a bowl of soapy water but it was for moths.
