Period due

My period is due on friday ... do i take a test or just wait to have missed my period?? I feel bloated the entire week end i had nausea but i think its just a coincidence since could be 2 early ... because if i aint pregnant this month i Gave up and then going on a diet too loose these extra pounds!!!
