Is Labor soon??

I’m 37 weeks and trying not to get too ahead of myself, but the last few nights I’ve been up with strong period feeling cramps and this morning had some small pieces of mucus plug. Is labor near or could I still be looking at weeks until I meet my little one?!

It could still be a while... I lost my mucus plug and have been having contractions for about 4 weeks now lol

It could be near! I had contractions about a week before my first was born that felt like strong period cramps. I woke up to them early in the morning several days in a row but as as soon as I got up and walked around they went away.

Ive been like this for 2 weeks now and Im just hitting 34 weeks  :-( everyday is painful and a struggle. 2 weeks left of work and hoping the baby stays in until 38w! Worried my body will go into labour though since Ive gotten such consistent intense cramps and contractions for 2 weeks already. So in my case hopefully it's not a sign of labour coming lol

I’m in the same boat so I’m hoping this is all signs of labor to come soon. I will be 37 weeks tomorrow so I’m ready to see my baby boy! My last pregnancy I was induced at 38 weeks so it seems like the ending of expecting labor is all new to me.

I’m with you! I’ve been having Braxton Hicks like crazy and they’ve turned into period like cramps the past couple days. Lots of pressure down low. However, at my visit last week, I wasn’t dilated and my cervix was still high and long. But my OB did say that she’s had women that, that can change very quickly. No mucus plug for me yet, however, I didn’t lose mine with my first. My water just ended up breaking at 40+3.

I get them most night period cramps really strong Braxton Hicks lightening crotch I dropped too and loads of pressure but no mucus plug yet IV got a feeling I've only got a few weeks left 🙈🙈
