39 weeks - hoping for a membrane sweep! 🤞🏼

I have my 39 week appointment soon! My OB has tried to do this for 2 weeks but baby was not low enough to try. Hoping she is actually as low as she feels and that this does something 🤞🏼❤️

Anyone have any luck with a sweep at 39 weeks with having contractions for a while before? (2 weeks of “false labor” like contractions and cramps!)

Update: was able to get the sweep done finally! I was only 1 cm dilated but 50% effaced and baby was at a -3 which she said is tons of progress from last week. Doc said she cares more about effacement and baby position. She said things are on their way. Labor should start naturally - and she said sooner than later 🤞🏼 we’ll see!!
