Is Mother’s Day for pet moms too?

I see people say “I’m a dog mom” (or cat) to celebrate Mother’s Day. Personally, I don’t think it’s the same.

Lol if they want it to be? I don’t get why people are bothered by it. I had a good day with my son and my family yesterday. We celebrated Mother’s Day and enjoyed the day. People calling themselves pet moms clearly did not take away from my day. And it doesn’t take away from other mothers to humans either. For some people, Mother’s Day can be really difficult whether they can’t conceive or have lost a mother. So if that brings them happiness, they should do it. I’m not going to try and take that away from them.

Some of us cannot have kids and pets are the closest thing to them. If it doesn't directly affect you then leave it be.
