Three possible explanations. 
1) it could be a chemical pregnancy test. At 5 weeks pregnant, the line should be pretty dark. I’ve had a chemical and I got positive test after positive test all faint lines but they were there. Took a digital and it was negative, got my period 2 days later (and I would have only been 3 days late).
2) you could have ovulated later than you thought and you’re still testing too early to get a clear positive.
3) Hook effect- where there is so much HCG that it gives you a negative even though you are pregnant. This is pretty rare, but it can happen.
If I were you I’d go to the doctor to confirm. Just to have that piece of mind. ❤️❤️
