Does this car seat look safe too you??

I just can decide if he's too small for it ?? It was my cousin's he's 7 months but really big he's atleast 21lbs now

I know it’s super nerdy to say, but your manual could be a big help with installing correctly. If you can’t find your paper manual, you can usually find a version online through Britax. “The car seat lady” also has advice available on her website and on youtube. Respectfully, I think there are several things concerning about your car seat installation.

Can the straps be adjusted lower? When rear facing the strap height should be at or below his shoulders and it looks like they’re above his shoulders to me but I may not be seeing it right.

Which model seat is it? I could be wrong but it appears to be one of their forward facing only seats (even though you have it rear facing).

I personally would lean it back just a tad bit more but my 3 1/2 month old is 17 pounds 😂😂.

Definitely check the manual, read it carefully. The recline might be okay, but your manual will tell you what is required based on the seat and the child’s stats. Like others said the straps need to be coming from at or below his shoulders, right now they are above. Also make sure the seat is installed correctly. It is hard to tell from this picture, but it looks like the seat belt may be routed through the forward facing belt path, not the rear facing as required.

It needs to be more at an angle but other than that he looks fine. Make sure you keep him rear facing and adjust the straps accordingly and you should be good.

Straps should be at or below the top of the shoulders and the seat should be tilted backwards more. What country are you in? If it has a chest buckle it should be at armpit level.
