Telling employer about pregnancy?

Question

So I’m around 7 weeks and I’m curious when is the right time to tell?  I wouldn’t be sooo concerned but I work at a Costco.  If you’ve work/ed there or have been there, you know it’s fast paced and a bit physical most of the time.  
Right now I am feeling nausea pretty much everyday and I’m so so tired.

I work in an operating room so once I found out I told my bosses. I lift patients lift heavy equipment push and pull heavy containers and run to risk of being kicked by patients and so forth. So for my safety and safety of my baby I told them within the week I found out.

I told mine within days of finding out. I also have an amazing boss tho. The 1st time I had a missed miscarriage and was leaving a lot for the doctor and then for the procedure. They'll find out at some point anyway good or bad so I dont see the point of hiding it from them (assuming you dont have a crappy boss who will make your life harder)

I told my boss at 9 weeks as my manager who knew at 4 weeks was going on holidays. I had a miscarriage a few months before so I only really told him as a heads up incase things went wrong again. He is extremely helpful and makes sure i’m ok often. 
Honestly, just tell them when you’re ready. 😊

If you feel like it’s affecting your work at all, tell your employer. You can explain you want to keep it secret for now

It’s really up to you, I’m 21w and haven’t said anything. But my pregnancy has been easy for the most part and I’m not showing. I was up for a new position and didn’t want the pregnancy affecting it. I plane on telling them by 25w if not sooner.

With my first I told my boss around 9 weeks because I was so sick and I needed to re arrange my shifts because of it. I had wanted to wait 12 weeks at least tho.

I tell my boss right away because if I am exceptionally sick or need to be hospitalized, they will know why.
