I think I have a yeast infection but I'm not sure can you guys tell me some common signs of one

Common signs/symptoms are itching, burning, and/or raw feeling in or on ur vaginal area, and a clumpy cottage cheese-like discharge (typically white in color, but can sometimes be grayish). Note: u don’t have to have all of the symptoms for an infection to be there.

To add to the previous answer: Sometimes you can also smell the yeast. It is pretty much an undertone of what you smell in a bakery or brewery where they work with yeast.
Since yeast is so simple to treat, you may consider just getting Monistat and using it. There is no harm done by it, and you cannot overdose on it. It is a topical treatment for fungus (yeast is a fungus).
