When did you or are planning to announce your pregnancy?

I’m 15w+3D now and I’m thinking I might announce in my third trimester opposed to after birth like I was planning 🤭 .. might post on my due date... might do a video, might never tell the internet idk but I’m realizing so many ppl have told already.

Hubby doesn’t want to announce until our  19 week scan next week  after we find out the gender.

We told my immediate family (all good secret keepers and all in the medical field, so they understand the risks of miscarriage, plus my parents had several) at 8 weeks. We told my husband’s family (his mom is a well-know blabber mouth and with our first told everyone she knew within 12 hours, so we learned our lesson) and a few very close friends yesterday after our ultrasound went very well at 11 weeks. We won’t announce on social media until June 3rd when I enter the second trimester. By then we’ll know the gender and it’ll be 6 months out from the due date. I think if you want to wait though, go for it; in fact I applaud that in this age where everyone has to share everything immediately. If you work, you may need to tell your employer before then, depending on company policy, but otherwise you do you!

I didn’t announce to the internet until 20 weeks. & even then I didn’t want to announce. Just my family was so excited & impatient to post on their social media I wanted to be the first
