Arm implant = no period?

Question

I got the arm implant on the 17th of April this year, and I'm now 18 days late in starting my period, is that normal? I was taking the pill before that and had no problem. I'm almost never late to start (and if I am it's usually only a day early or late) and I've never missed one before so this is really unusual for me. Any feedback is appreciated.

I have had the implant for almost 2 years + I have a regular monthly period. For the first 6 mo it was all over the place though.

Everyone is different but when I got it bleed for 3 months then didn’t have a period for a month then had a period non stop the implant isn’t for everyone that’s why I’m getting it removed but it seems like it’s working for u

The implant can really mess up your period. I get some spotting every 2 months or so, but never gotten a real period since I've had it.

I’ve had it for almost 3 years I am due to have it out in November and I haven’t had one period, not even spotting at all. Everyone is different.

Your body is still getting used to it. The arm implant (nexplanon) is super effective so I wouldn't stress about it. But in my personal experience I would have really bad irregular periods.
