Autism?

I don’t know why I read this stuff, but I do. I just read that a babies eating habits can be red flags on autism. My son has reflux (which they says is a sign), he does well purées but can’t handle eating solid foods. He vomits the moment it hits his mouth. I read that is one of the first signs of being autistic. Please help, im worried.

This is just one of many signs. 
I would not get concerned yet at all. 
Its when the signs start mounting we worry. 
But we all have “some” autistic traits. Its how many, how extreme, and how impactful thet are that matters

Literally anything you google seems to be a symptom for Autism it seems like. Like another comment, don’t sweat it until you have multiple things going on.  I’d worry more about social things.  I feel like a lot of people have texture issues!

Stop stressing yourself out. I get super annoyed seeing people try to diagnose babies with ASD all the time. I am sure your child is fine, don’t worry yourself.

I work with children with Autism and this isn't a sign of Autism... especially at his age. He can't handle solid foods because you started him on the purees. This is very common for babies who are fed purees and baby food. There's no need for any of that. It's more beneficial for him to be fed real solid table foods so he can learn how to chew and feed himself. The purees are holding him back here. It's not Autism, it's you.

Some food textures make me gag and I'm not autistic. Sometimes you just don't like things. Sometimes you get over it sometimes you don't 🤷 I think you may be thinking way too much into it but talk to the pediatrician next appt

How old is your baby? Dont freak out. Even if your baby was somewhere on the spectrum 0-100 it will be ok I've thought 2 of my girls were on the spectrum my 20 year old and my 2 year old and they test and test and I just love teach learn hug kiss and repeat so MANY ADULTS IN TODAY'S SOCIETY are high functioning autistic people everything will be ok.

Don’t over analyze anything yet. We all, babies and children included, have smells, textures, and colors we can’t stand. I despise scrambled eggs. Not the flavor but the texture. Makes me want to gag
