Bed bug??

I know the pictures are blurry, but this crawled on me and I had one on me a couple months ago. I’ve never had bed bugs or seen one and been sure of what it was

Yes it is a bed bug had them before put everything in a plastic bag and call a exterminator they might have to do it more than once but until its clear keep them in bags and wash them one by one and in high heat dryer. Good luck

Ew, this made my skin crawl. I HATE BED BUGS! it took us forever to get rid of them. But we bagged up our mattress and box spring with the plastic things you buy from like Walmart (it HAS TO SAY FOR BEDBUGS on it) then we washed everything, clothes, sheets, blankets, towels, everything in the hottest water possible and dryed it on the hottest setting possible. We used RID. LOTS OF IT. We sprayed the bed, the carpets, the couches, the carpets, the baseboards, did I mention the carpets?, sprayed everything multiple times. These little bastards can live for like a year without blood, they stink when you squish em, they are horrid. After spraying eveything, I vacuumed multiple times a day, dumped the canister immediately into a bag that I triple knotted closed, and took outside to the trash can each time. It was truly a hassle. I couldn't afford an exterminator so i handled it myself after i spazzed out. Once i freaked out on the house they were gone with in a month (wish ida done it a lot sooner 😒). It's totally possible to be free of them. If you need me to walk you through it let me know. That was a full grown adult in your picture so I'd start checking for nests if I were you. My parents didnt believe they were bedbugs at first because of how big they were and we'd never dealt with them before. Clove oil is supposed to help get rid of them too but the all natural products we sunk money into didn't really do much. Not saying they don't work but in our case they didn't. I hope this helps you. Yes!!! I'm currently battling then for the third fucking time. I know cleanliness has nothing to do with it but I spend way to much of my time cleaning for this shit. The first time my daughter got eaten alive over night at a hotel. The second time I kept my cousins daughter for a week in the summer and she brought them with her. And this time my daughter went to her first sleep over and brought them home. She is allergic to them so she has a more sever reaction. I think I caught it early enough that only her room has been affected so far. I'm literally about to have a mental breakdown over these things

My SO and I are currently in the moving process and the bed bugs are at his moms where we have been staying. I told her and showed her the pictures and she just keeps saying they don’t look like bed bugs and that they are just in our room because of food and trash. This is the 3rd time i have seen one in the last few months and it’s only been during the night. She won’t listen to me and is convinced it’s just some other type of beetle. So frustrating 😅 our mattresses at his moms still, but basically everything else is moved to our house, including our bed frame and the box. Should we just call an exterminator? We aren’t taking this mattress and are giving back the frame and box.
