Laying down after sex to conceive, tummy or back, hips up or not?

So much Co flicting info on this... What do you all think and what's your experience when TTC?

Laying down after sex does nothing but increase your chance of an ugly UTI. Get up immediately and go pee. Shower if you plan to shower. Sperm gets passed the cervix immediately and heads to where it needs too. There’s no need to lay there afterwards. Anything that comes out when you pee is just ‘left over’.

Laying down, holding your legs up, etc. will not increase your chances on conceiving. That is a myth! Sperm gets where it needs to go in seconds. You need to pee immediately after sex to avoid UTI’s. You can get up right after & do what you need to do, it will not decrease your chances at all.

I don’t think it ultimately matters. When I conceived my second child, I got up and used the bathroom immediately. Not to mention my first baby was an ivf baby and I was told my chances of conceiving naturally was extremely low. So from my experience it doesn’t matter. But it can’t hurt either if it makes you feel better.

I layed on my back every time with a pillow under my hips. Usually layed for about 15 to 30 mins and never got a UTI. After my IUIs my doctor told me to lay for at least 15 mins so I figured it couldn't hurt 🤷‍♀️
