Could constipation be a sign of labor?

I was constipated before pregnancy always have been. But sense being pregant I was going more loose stools not diarrhea. Lately I haven't felt good iv been feeling off. And had very bad constipation today more so then ever. Could this be a sign. I'm 37+4

I’ve actually heard the opposite, that loose stools are a sign, but everyone’s bodies are different so maybe!

Do you know your constipated or do you just feel constipated? Some women describe the feeling having to go but when they try they cant and that is supposedly a sign of coming labor. Keeping fingers crossed for you! 🤞
