Potty training adivice??

I have a three month old puppy (pit lab mix) he keeps going in the house I take him out and hell poddy and I'll give him a treat but if he paddies inside I put his nose in it and pop his butt anything else I can do to get him to try to poddy outside?

make sure you have him on a set schedule, he's very young it's going to take him a little while, however don't rub a living creatures face in feces and urine.. it's similar to training a toddler to use the bathroom.

I struggled with my pup for a while he kept peeing inside the house what i did was basically get into a routine. After a nap, after eating, first thing in the morning, every few minutes if he’s playing, and before bed TAKE HIM OUTSIDE and when he actually goes potty outside reward him with lots of affection and hype him up like he just did the best thing he could possibly do lol. He now 6 months and rarely ever has an accident now the only time he’ll have accidents is when he’s playing with my other dog he forgets and waits last minutes but he’ll stop mid pee and lower his head and run to the door to be let out he already knows what he did wasn’t okay but at least he understood what he did and therefore I don’t “punish” him for it. Also limit his water when it’s starting to get late I wouldn’t allow him to drink water past 7pm. And monitor how much he’s drinking obviously if he drinks a lot of water he’s going to go more often, take him out every 15 minutes if you need to and I guarantee he’ll go potty even if it’s just a drop. Also when he goes inside make it clear that you’re upset raise your voice a little bit and change your tone so he knows the difference between “oh mom didn’t like what I just did” and “omg I made my mom so proud I should keep this up”. Hope it helps , and don’t forget to be patient it doesn’t happen overnight but he’ll get there :)

mine used the bathroom in the house until about 8 months, you have to walk him outside constantly until he gets use to it. When he uses the bathroom in the house, he doesn’t get treats, i put him in his cage.

We crate, reward, and don’t punish. Puppies don’t understand why you’re hitting them, they just get scared. And remember, if they don’t have accidents once in a while, they don’t learn to associate correct behavior with rewards. It takes about 5 months on average to house train a puppy so be patient!

Try giving him his space at night. We put our pup in the downstairs lol to sleep. Meant he didn't wee in the kitchen at night times...
