working out

hey guys, i'm trying to get my friend motivated to work out woth me because honestly im so worried about her health. and we have a huge exam coming up next year and im sure she's gonna let herself go and sit for 11 hours a day, studying and it will take a toll on her health. she says she doesn't want to exercise because she wont see any progress right away. what do i do?

EDIT: we're 17 and im worried about her eating habits too, she doesn't want to quit binge eating and she gave up working out with me after 6 sessions. i've had a rather impressive transformation too but nothing i say changes her mind.
