Birthday presents?

Question

What a good birthday present to give your one year old? What was some of your favorite gifts your baby’s got? What did you get your 1 year old?
I have a couple ideas but I want the wow factor but he is just too young for like a power wheel or a bike or anything like that.
Edit: my son doesn’t care for toys unless he can use them to stand up he just runs through them! What kind of water table did you guys get?

We got him the Nugget as his primary gift.  Loves it!  We use it primarily to make tents and ramps for him now, but he also likes tearing it apart and tumbling over the pieces lol.  Definitely one I know he’ll have for awhile too.  We also got him the Hape Scoot Around, PlanToys Stacking Rocket, and Everearth Ramp Racer.  All hits.  We also took him to Barnes and Noble and let him “pick” whatever he wanted; we came home with 9 books lol.  And we threw a huge garden party - his favorite gift from that was definitely the indoor/outdoor slide my brother got him.  He’s our first and probably only sooooo we’re kinda nuts about it all.  ;).  This all said - his favorite thing in the world is a small wooden blue ball soooooooooo I don’t think he cared at all!  ;)

Her are two other bigger gifts she got. Disclaimer: the truck was a $10 yard sale purchase. Oh and she got pearls from her other aunt and uncle. They give her two pearls for every significant occasion, when she turns 18 they will have them turned into a pearl necklace.  Now you can see why we didn’t go nuts🤷🏼‍♀️ We (I😉) went over the top for her party😃😃😃

We got my daughter one of those play tunnels you can crawl through from Ikea.

I got my daughter a water table also, two baby dolls, some snack (she LOVES food), and I took her to the zoo. I tried to keep the gifts simple since she has so many, and it’s hard to tell what babies will like to play with or how long they will like them.

I got my daughter a little people safari thing and a little tikes rocking horse. She loves them both. She also got a little people barn thing too that she loves.
