Elective induction?

Anyone electively getting induced? 
My doctor said since this is second baby it’s an option after 39 weeks. 
Tempting, but I’m not completely sold. Anyone doing it, or have done it?

My doc is offering me the same but I really don't want to be induced if I don't have to...but I'm also so uncomfortable..We'll see when the time comes!

Yep, scheduled for June 2nd which is only 4 days before my due date, but I’m over it!!

I wouldn't decide a date in advance or anything. But see what your Bishop readiness score is. With my third they just stripped my membranes and I was holding a baby within a couple of hours. If you're really ready there's not much risk.

I’m scheduling mine tomorrow (I’ll be 39 weeks) since it’s my second baby as well! I’m all for it because with my first I went two weeks over! Not again no thank you lol

Im thinking about doing the same. STM and was inquiring about it...i have heard good and bad. Dr. Said if u are dialated before it will go smooth. If ur closed it takes more effort and interventions. Im planning to check my cervix checked next time to see whats up.

I had a scheduled induction scheduled for my 2nd and 3rd at 39+3 and 39 weeks but went into labor before those days

Lol this is my first baby and I would definitely elect to be induced but that’s just me ! 😂🙋🏽‍♀️
