Did they get the sex right?

Question

At 20 week Scan the baby was in a weird position and you couldn’t see between the legs.. the woman doing the scan said she couldn’t see and that she can’t see any boy parts from where she can see so she THINKS it’s a girl...
Would she be able to say this without knowing for sure? How likely do you think she’s right? 
Any similar stories?

Look on groupon for scans. I got a 3D scan with a DVD and 2 pics for £49 😊

Even if it’s wrong as long as you have something reasonably neutral in your hospital bag it shouldn’t matter.

I booked a private scan at 16 weeks and was told that it was a girl. In my opinion it wasn't clear cut but I'm no professional so wouldn't really know what I was looking at. I had my doubts. I did have a boy previously so I knew what boy parts would look like on a scan but with a girl it's all a little less obvious isn't it? So we waited until our 20 week scan with the NHS they also said it was a girl. But no matter who you get scanned with they will never say with 100% accuracy that it's one or the other. No one can do that. Sometimes it's really obvious and sometimes it isn't. But I would say it's so much easier to tell if you get a good shot of a boy lol x

If you want to know before birth you can book a private scan. If the baby is in a funny position they offer a free rescan at another date. 17 weeks private scan said girl, 20 weeks NHS agreed and did have a girl. I would be reluctant to start buying things based on 'thinks' it's a girl
