Sickle cell?

I just found out i am a carrier for sickle cell and i was just wondering has anyone gone through this? Like their children / baby have the sickle cell disease

Me and my boyfriend are both AS carriers. I had an invasive test done for my baby, he doesn’t even have the trait! He is a normal healthy AA baby! Just relax, you never know what could happen! I’m so thankful to God!

I have the trait but not the disease. My So does not have the trait. My kids have the trait too. If you have the trait and your spouse has the trait it’s highly that your baby will have the actually disease. And it’s awful. When you want to have kids, make sure your spouse does not have the trait.

I have sickle cell anemia (SS), and as a kid I was in and out of the hospital.. I am 27 now and rarely visit the ER.. my Mom raised me to not look at it as a disability,so I dont let it slow me down at all.. I live a normal life.. however some with sickle cell disease do not.. if you have any questions just ask 💕

My husband has the trait and he passed it down to our son. His half brother has the disease. He stays in an out of the hospital just because of the low immune system. Its a horrible disease..
