RE said no deli meats due to nitrates... wanted to order a pizza and husband said no pepperoni and then we looked it up and he also said no pork in addition to no deli meats? Is all this overboard???

You can eat what ever meat you want as long as its hot... no deli meats cold but heated up thay are fine, so on a pizza thay are fine

Pep on pizza is fine! It needs to be cooked (heated up) and just in moderation due to nitrates. It's totally fine

I definitely eat pepperoni pizza! For no nitrates, I will get Open Nature’s uncured pepperoni pizza  in the frozen pizza section, buuuttttt I’ll also carefree smash a regular pep pizza when it’s around regardless. As long as the meat is heated/cooked all the way. Just don’t eat it cold. Enjoy 🍕🍕🍕
