Asking for money???

How do I politely ask this lady to pay me $150 this time I watch her dogs? They’re out of town for three nights and want me to stay overnight at their house and come during the day to let the dogs out.

Last time she only gave me $100 and we hadn’t handled it professionally (because it was a friend of my mom) so I didn’t find out until she paid me, and they also paid me more the first time I watched them.. so I thought it would be the same.

Help me out if you have any experience telling people how much you want for services. Thanks!

Just text her and say “I would be happy to watch your dogs, $150 is how much I charge. Let me know if you have any questions”

She’ll probably be ok with it since she has paid you before. Just let her know it’ll be more this time because it’s 3 nights away from home and you still have to go back during the day to let them out and that’s a lot of your time. I don’t think that’s rude at all.

No matter how you go about it be ready to receive some sort of attitude or being told they don’t need you anymore lol Hopefully that will not be the case and they’ll be a make sure about it good luck

Have a sit down and tell her you want to have a written agreement if you are going to continue to help out and how much you're expecting.
