Hi guys,

The other day I went out with my friend for ice cream and she drove. When we parked up she decided not to put a ticket on her car in the car park. When we got back to the car she found she had been given a fine for not buying a ticket.

Once she had payed the fine she asked me for my half. I didn’t want to pay for half the ticket as it wasn’t my car and at the time I had no cash to buy a ticket so there was nothing I could have done to prevent this fine.

Should I have to pay half the ticket as well, even though it’s not my car, just because I was there as well?
