Pregnant w/ type 2 diabetes

Okay, sooooooo I terribly failed my 1 & 3 hour glucose test 😔 so went to see an diabetic specialists and I have to do a week of testing my blood to see if I need to be out on med btw my blood sugar is great... Anyways I just been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and I'm scared to death for my baby 😭😭😭 I cried like 50 times today every time I think about it I get an ultrasound in a week for them to look for birth defects and if I caused my baby to be hurt in any way I'm gonna lose it. I love my little bunny so much already and I just want a safe, happy, and healthy pregnancy and baby... Is anyone else dealing with type 2 and pregnancy.. I could really use some encouraging words....
