Has anyone used this?

My 2 yo has chronic constipation. I've tried everything from trying my best to change his diet, fiber snacks, miralax, laxative for kids, prune juice, taken him to many doctors appointments, etc. 
I'm at my wits end with it all. Has anyone used this? Idk what else to do! He is in so much pain where he cries and is sweating like crazy. Any situations?

My niece has constipation issues which sound really similar. I’m talking she will go once every 4-5 days and she’s screaming in pain, crying hysterically. Like you they’ve gone to countless doctors appointments. She’s an extremely picky eater so much of the Fiberous foods etc are not on her menu. They’ve never gotten an answer from any doctors as to why this is an issue except they think she holds it and holds it and holds it. I know my SIL has done suppositories when it’s to the point that she’s in so much pain and still can’t use the bathroom. Have you tried seeing a gastro?

Our “big issue” (every kid has one!) has been pooping with our daughter. 
Our doctor had us give her miralax, and she was on an insane amount and still wasn’t going. The tears and panic from all of us was too much. 
So I told my husband I’m not giving it to her anymore and I’m going to find something else. 
I bought her fiber gummies (on amazon, there is a picture of a bear on the front) give her a probiotic and a liquid supplement called Constipation Ease. 
Honestly, it’s been a miracle. She goes almost every day. She’s potty trained for pee, but is so not ready to poop on the potty. We’ve discovered she also really doesn’t want to be with us when she poops. So we’ve calmly told her “hey if you need to go poop in your diaper in your room go for it!” She now goes before nap or before bed and calls out to us. 
It’s been life changing. I hope you find what works for you guys 💛

Cuterelle for kids is a probiotics so it's gentle on the digestive system rather than aggressive like an enemas,  suppository or Miralax. Start off with it added to their drink or food every other day and then you can space further apart

Absolutely use suppositories. So there’s a couple things that happen with chronic constipation— the less they go & hold, the bowels get extremely dry and impacted in the colon. They push, they can get anal fissures, which is extremely painful, so they hold it in more, which further exacerbates the constipation. It’s a vicious cycle that we battled. 
For us, suppositories were extremely useful in getting that super hard stool near the anus out. It’s not a cure for clearing out the bowels though. So a combination of miralax, lots of water, lots of fiber (I gave her adult fiber 1 bars) and suppositories was what did the trick. Also, having a time of day that we dedicate to sitting for poop has become part of the daily routine. So before bathtime, we put her on toilet, and color or read books but have a stretch of unrushed time where we encourage her to have bowel movements.

I have an 8 yr old son who has struggled his whole life with constipation. I did use that all the time when he was a baby. He goes to a specialist for it, an takes any where from 2 to 8 capfuls of miralax a day. When he gets back up we do 4 days of 8 capfuls then go down to 2 capfuls.
