Natural FET with or without progesterone?

Not sure what to do. Take the progesterone or try and do it by myself. Anyone doing a natural cycle at the moment and could give me some advice? Thanks x

Do whatever your doctor suggest you to do. They know better. I started Crinone gel a week prior to FET,and i am still using it twice a day.

I’m doing a natural fet and was prescribed progesterone. Whilst the body does produce this naturally supplementation increases the chances of it being successful, particularly if you have a literal defect or just produce low levels of the hormone. I did a natural FET and my dr refused to prescribe or test my progesterone levels. Said it’s not something they monitored for a natural FET since your body should be producing it on its own. I’m almost 16 weeks so it did work even though I was very skeptical.

My understanding is that when doing ivf your body doesn’t produce the amount of progesterone you need automatically and most people need a boost for awhile. I am using crinsone inserts, hate them but will use them until the doctor says I can stop

I would definitely take it. Give yourself any chance you can for it to work!
