How was your labor?

For mommas who exercised their entire pregnancy, how was your labor?

Awful. The worst pain I ever felt in my life.

I’m not sure if it was due to being active my whole pregnancy or just genetics or what....but my labor was less than an hour and a half 😳. Water broke at 4:45 and I was 9 cm when I got to the hospital at 5:45. Because it was so fast they said it was like I was given a shit ton of pitocin so it was INTENSE. Went from zero to 60 in like no time flat. But honestly, I think I’d prefer that over hours and hours of laboring.

Ending up being a csection because my dilation wasn’t progressing.

I exercised through both me pregnancies. first labor lasted roughly 9 hours, an hour and a half of it pushing. My second lasted 6 hours, with 7 minutes of pushing.  He was in a rush.

Didnt exercise at all and had an awesome labor this time. 😂 I had an epidural but even directly after I had literally zero pain. Never even took a motrin except to get rid of the contraction pain after. Ive started exercising now and feel physically great

I stayed active, but I wouldn’t say I exercised regularly - I walked a lot.
First (most active) - 13.5 hr L&d
Second - 2.5 hr L&d
Third - 1 hr, 50 min L&d
Fourth (induction) - 4.5 hr L&d
I think genetics helped me the most.  My mom had quick deliveries.  My sister had an hour L&d with her first (no exercise)....show off.

It was the worst pain i've ever felt. Flr the same reason, i don't want more kids.
