**HORRIBLE TMI - MISCARRIAGE TRIGGER** I am so scared. What the heck is this???

Question

I started miscarrying a week ago. I’ve been bleeding and passing clots for 6 days. The past 2 days, it’s been mostly blood, slowing down a lot. 
And then I just passed THIS. 
What the hell is it?? 
I was 9 weeks along, empty sac, only measured 6 weeks. 
The clots I passed a week ago were huge, but this is like, hard and tennis ball sized. 
I am so scared, what on earth?? 
I know it’s disgusting, but I don’t know who else to ask for help.

I passed something similar, was told by the dr it’s the placenta. As long you’re not soaking through more than one pad an hr there’s no need to go to the dr. I’m so sorry your loss.

It looks like your uterine lining came out as a big chunk. Its pretty normal

I passed something almost identical to that with my miscarriage. If you’re worried you can bring it to the doctor in a sealed cup and they can test it if you want to know any information about why your miscarriage happened. I do think it is normal though, no need to rush to the er unless you don’t feel well. It’s extremely scary when you pass that, and I’m so sorry you’re going through this right now.

Be careful. I ended up in the hospital 2 weeks later after my miscarriage with a hemorrhage . I was bleeding out.
