I REALLY just want to know. I’m trying to think of the right way to explain this but I can’t so sorry if it seems a little crazy 😅

Do you find it offensive to your race seeing a white baby wearing topknot turbans?

I kept seeing babies on my newsfeed wearing them and bought one for my daughter. I figured it would be good for summer since she’s young and really pale. I was thinking it would help her head from getting sunburnt.

Well earlier today I posted a picture of her wearing it on my Facebook and a black lady messaged me saying it was offensive and I was disrespecting black culture.

I was hurt because I never meant to send that message to anyone? I had good intentions.

So is it actually offensive or was she just being rude?
