so apparently there is a vertical string/wall in your vagina that is supposedly a separate hymen. i started using tampons about 3-4 months ago, and i got my period 1 and a half years ago. whenever i go to pull out my tampon, (inserted correctly and in for the recommended time,) there’s the line of skin attached to the tampon that causes TERRIBLE pain to me when pulling out the tampon to the point that i’m crying. i recently had to legitimately get up on my bathroom counter, squat in the mirror and pull the skin around the tampon until it fell out. (when the skin was off the tampon slid right out without me touching it.) i’m really concerned because summer is coming up and if i go back to using pads, i might have difficulty with certain activities. but if i use tampons, i will still have this excruciating pain. i haven’t told my mom about it or visited a doctor.
