Periods after birth control??

Question

So before I went on birth control my periods were very irregular. I’ve been on BC for 4 years now and decided to finally go off of it. Will my period be finally regular without the BC now?

Answer

Your period will typically be the same as it was before the pill.
If you know you were irregular before, I'd bring it up to your doctor sooner than later just in case there's something more to it.
